Top ways to experience Busch Gardens and similar attractions

Fantastic time.

This review was somehow saved as a Draft from 2017 so I'm posting it now.
Had a great time at Busch Gardens seeing all of the various types of wildlife and the Serengeti Tour is definitely worth the extra money! The feeding the giraffes was very cool.

Too many of the rides & attractions are shut down - my family was disappointed. NOT worth the money. Not at all.

Disappointing day-1/2 the park is closed!

Dec 2021 • Family

Here on Saturday, December 4th. Park is beautiful and clean. Crowds aren't bad. The problem is that almost everything is closed. 3 out of the 6 major coasters are closed. Raft ride is closed. Sky ride is closed. Pirate ship is closed. Kids rope climbing area/playground is closed. More rides are closed than open. Which also means that the lines for the few open rides are very long. Drove here from Orlando and it's a complete disappointment. Also no one can tell you if/when a ride will be opening. Doesn't seem to be a lack of staff as every game, food stand, and beer cart are open. So disappointing!

Waste of time

Nov 2021 • Couples

Park advertises hours 10-8 on a Monday. Arrive at 10 , sign says open at noon. Parking $30.00 first red flag they are making up for covid closure. Now I'm worried we won't see the whole thing,
not to worry done by 3:30. Not traveling with children to slow us down but really . Most everything closed unless over priced food or T-shirt stands. Short of help, not so sure that flys with me. Employees were clumped together doing a whole lot of nothing. My advice to the park…. Close on Tuesday and Wednesday to regroup the help you have. Put some character costumes on employees to walk the park. It's way better than a broom and dust pan. Open up the free beer tasting!! The Black Friday deals on tickets is a good sale but you get what you pay for and my advice is put you money in a Disney ticket. I do feel bad for bush gardens but people want their $ worth !

No Longer Provide the Free Shuttle Service from Orlando which they advertise!! DISGUSTING!!!

So..we were staying at Orlando and booked 2 days at Busch Gardens- paid the tickets and paid for Fast passes.

They advertise FREE shuttle service to the park (which is over an hour away) we arrive on holiday and go to organise the shuttle only to be told they are no longer doing it!!!!!!!

So we were stuck - The taxi to the park and back is £150!!! Car hire was £120....or the bus was 4 and a half hours.

Absolutely fuming!! - we had to hire a car twice at a cost of £300 - for something we were told was free.

Disgusting cost cutting measures from Busch Gardens - leaving hundreds (if not thousands) of paying tickets holders stranded in Orlando not knowing how to get to the park.

First time there and looking forward to my return trip already

Nov 2021

We choose a Monday/school day to go. Best time ever! We had the run of the park for the first few hours. We were front row on the first 3 roller coaster and could have stay on and rode multiple times. We actually wasted our money on quick que passes and I wasn't even upset since we could go from ride to ride without a wait. The train ride and safari were lots of fun. Feeding the Giraffe's during the safari was a Great experience. The park being decorated for Christmas was very festive as we had made a day of it. Can't wait to go back!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Nov 2021

I purchased 4 fun cards for my sons 16th Birthday. We made the trip from Ft Myers Saturday 11.29.21, to spend the day celebrating. We were so very disappointed. We began our visit waiting 1.5 hours in a line at Montu, for them to shut the ride down, giving us no raincheck option or anything. There were several rides thereafter we traveled though the park to ride that were shut down as well, some including Cheeta Hunt, and Falcons Fury. At 3pm there were no places to obtain a snack or drink which forced us to wait in a almost 2 hour line at the smokehouse for a very early dinner. I read the park was going to be open until 10pm (I believe it was open later last year for Christmas Towne), but the rides all stopped at 9pm. The bathrooms were disgusting and smelled of raw sewage to the point where people actually vomited all over in front of me in line just to go to the restroom. The Christmas show at the park was very disappointing compared to last year. I am so upset that we paid all this money, for my sons birthday, and we only got to ride 3 rides all day. It ruined his day completely. To top it all off, I send this message to them, and they have yet to respond.

Bad Food Options

Nov 2021 • Friends

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay food choices have dramatically changed and really isn't worth the money any more. Just 2 years ago you could enjoy many options and several locations had different types of French Fries now got can ONLY get waffle fries at any sit down location in the park. The desert options went from Carrot Cake, Hand Prepared fruit to pre packaged EVERYTHING. The Davids cookies and Brownie's aren't the best thing at all. SKIP the prepackaged and go back to homemade. Also why is it every dining location is always OUT of sweet tea! Bring back the food options from 2 years ago PLEASE
